League Two (Week 29) : Northampton defeats Morecambe 2-1
ENGLAND, Feb. 7, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 29: Five wins in a row for Northampton Town. After their success against Exeter City, Dagenham & Redbridge, Newport County and Accrington Stanley, the Cobblers continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-1 victory over Morecambe this Saturday.
Byrom opened the score in the 1st minute, before seeing Morecambe catch up in the 41st minute thanks to Devitt. 1-1 at half time. The Cobblers eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Richards in the 54th minute.
Northampton Town FC climbed to 11st place with 40 points from 29 games, only one point behind Stevenage FC.
