ENGLAND, Feb. 7, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 29: After their 1-1 draw against Morecambe on January 31, Dons returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Newport County this Saturday.
Akinfenwa scored dual goals
AFC Wimbledon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Akinfenwa in the 11th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Dons further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Akinfenwa in the 72nd minute.
Newport County AFC remains in 6th place with 46 points from 29 games, 5 points behind Southend United FC.
