League Two (Week 30) : Newport and Tranmere play to a 1-1 draw
WALES, Feb. 10, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 30: The match between Newport County and Tranmere Rovers ended in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.
Tranmere Rovers players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Donnelly in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Newport County with a saving goal from Byrne in the 83rd minute.
Newport County AFC remains in 6th place with 47 points from 30 games, 5 points behind Luton Town FC, which has a game in hand.
