League Two (Week 24) : Portsmouth defeats Tranmere 3-2
ENGLAND, Feb. 24, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 24: Three wins in a row for Portsmouth. After their success against Exeter City and Cambridge United, Pompey continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 3-2 victory over Tranmere Rovers this Tuesday.
Taylor scored dual goals
Tranmere Rovers had started off well by taking the lead in the 28th minute with a goal by Myrie-williams. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Pompey nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Westcarr '76 and Taylor '82, '85).
Portsmouth FC climbed to 13rd place with 43 points from 32 games, only one point behind Morecambe FC.
