League Two (Week 37) : Burton defeats Southend 2-1
ENGLAND, Mar. 18, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 37: Three wins in a row for Burton Albion. After their success against Hartlepool United and Accrington Stanley, the Brewers continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-1 victory over Southend United this Wednesday.
Southend United had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with a goal by Corr. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Brewers nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Palmer '56 and El Khayati '89).
Burton Albion FC remains in first place with 73 points from 37 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Shrewsbury Town FC.
