League Two (Week 39) : Oxford defeats Carlisle 2-1
ENGLAND, Mar. 28, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 39: After losing 0-2 to Hartlepool United on March 21 and 2-0 to Shrewsbury Town on March 21, the Boys from Up the Hill bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Carlisle United this Saturday.
Corry opened the score in the 9th minute, before seeing Oxford United catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Hoban. 1-1 at half time. The Boys from Up the Hill eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Vassell with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Oxford United FC climbed to 16th place with 46 points from 39 games, 3 points behind Dagenham & Redbridge FC.
