WALES, Sep. 5, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 6: After losing 1-2 to Mansfield Town on August 29, the Minstermen returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Newport County this Saturday.
York City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Berrett James in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Minstermen further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Thompson Reece '55 and Oliver Vadaine '59).
York City FC climbed to 12nd place with 7 points from 6 games, tie on points with Northampton Town FC, which has a game in hand.
