League Two (Week 29) : Exeter defeats Hartlepool 2-0
ENGLAND, Jan. 30, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 29: Three wins in a row for Exeter City. After their success against Leyton Orient and Accrington Stanley, the Grecians continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-0 victory over Hartlepool United this Saturday.
Exeter City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Nicholls Alex in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Grecians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Grant Joel with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Exeter City FC climbed to 12nd place with 40 points from 28 games, only one point behind Cambridge United FC.
