League Two (Week 28) : Exeter defeats Accrington 2-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 23, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Exeter City. After their 1-3 win against Leyton Orient on January 16, the Grecians continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-1 victory over Accrington Stanley this Saturday.
Mccartan Shay opened the score in the 3rd minute, before seeing Exeter City catch up in the 5th minute thanks to Nichols Tom. 1-1 at half time. The Grecians eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Ribeiro Christian in the 79th minute.
Accrington Stanley FC remains in 6th place with 42 points from 24 games, 2 points behind Portsmouth FC.
