League Two (Week 28) : AFC Wimbledon beats Notts 2-0
ENGLAND, Jan. 23, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 28: Four wins in a row for AFC Wimbledon. After their success against Exeter City, Cambridge United and Mansfield Town, Dons continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-0 victory over Notts County this Saturday.
AFC Wimbledon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Elliott Tom in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Dons further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Barcham Andy with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
AFC Wimbledon climbed to 7th place with 42 points from 27 games, tie on points with Accrington Stanley FC, which has three games in hand.
