League Two (Week 27) : AFC Wimbledon defeats Mansfield 3-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 16, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 27: Three wins in a row for AFC Wimbledon. After their success against Exeter City and Cambridge United, Dons continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 3-1 victory over Mansfield Town this Saturday.
Mansfield Town had started off well by taking the lead in the 11th minute with a goal by Green Matt. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Dons nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Taylor Lyle '49, Meades Jonathan '78 and Azeez Adebayo '87).
AFC Wimbledon climbed to 8th place with 39 points from 26 games, tie on points with Accrington Stanley FC, which has many games in hand.
