League Two (Week 34) : Mansfield beats Stevenage 2-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 9, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 34: After losing 2-3 to Accrington Stanley on January 2, the Stags bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Stevenage this Saturday.
Mansfield Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Clements Chris in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Stags further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Baxendale James in the 65th minute.
Mansfield Town FC climbed to 8th place with 38 points from 25 games, only one point behind Accrington Stanley FC, which has three games in hand.
