League Two (Week 34) : Northampton and AFC Wimbledon play to a 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Mar. 1, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 34: Northampton Town was held to a 1-1 draw by AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday.
Northampton Town players started off well by taking the lead thanks to O Toole John-joe in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by AFC Wimbledon with a saving goal from Taylor Lyle in the 62nd minute.
Northampton Town FC climbed to first place with 75 points from 34 games, a 11-point lead over runner-up Oxford United FC.
