League Two (Week 33) : Oxford defeats AFC Wimbledon 2-1
ENGLAND, Feb. 27, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 33: Two wins in a row for Oxford United. After their 1-4 win against Exeter City on February 23, the Boys from Up the Hill continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-1 victory over AFC Wimbledon this Saturday.
Hylton Danny opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing AFC Wimbledon catch up in the 33rd minute thanks to Barcham Andy. 1-1 at half time. The Boys from Up the Hill eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Bowery Jordan in the 59th minute.
Oxford United FC remains in third place with 61 points from 33 games, 3 points behind Plymouth Argyle FC.
