League Two (Week 33) : Carlisle beats Morecambe 2-1
ENGLAND, Feb. 27, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 33: After losing 1-0 to AFC Wimbledon on February 23, the Cumbrians bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Morecambe this Saturday.
Morecambe had started off well by taking the lead in the 27th minute with a goal by Ellison Kevin. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Cumbrians nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Wyke Charlie '83 on penalty and Asamoah Derek '84).
Carlisle United FC climbed to 11st place with 49 points from 31 games, only one point behind Bristol Rovers FC.
