ENGLAND, Aug. 13, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 2: After their 1-1 draw against Colchester United on August 6, the Pools bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Exeter City this Saturday.
Exeter City had started off well by taking the lead in the 31st minute with a goal by Mcalinden Liam. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Pools nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Woods Michael '74 and Paynter Billy '75).
Hartlepool United FC climbed to 6th place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with Mansfield Town FC.
