League Two (Week 14) : Carlisle defeats Stevenage 2-1
ENGLAND, Oct. 22, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 14: Four wins in a row for Carlisle United. After their success against Colchester United, Morecambe and Hartlepool United, the Cumbrians continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-1 victory over Stevenage this Saturday.
Kennedy Jason opened the score in the 16th minute, before seeing Stevenage catch up in the 44th minute thanks to Godden Matthew penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Cumbrians eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Grainger Danny on penalty in the 57th minute.
Carlisle United FC climbed to second place with 28 points from 14 games, 4 points behind Plymouth Argyle FC.
