League Two (Week 28) : Newport beats Hartlepool 3-1
WALES, Jan. 28, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 28: After their 1-1 draw against Colchester United on January 21 and 0-0 draw against Barnet on January 21, the Exiles returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Hartlepool United this Saturday.
Newport County dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Bird Ryan in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Exiles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Williams Aaron '56 and Butler Dan '71).
Hartlepool United FC remains in 18th place with 30 points from 28 games, one point behind Morecambe FC, which has three games in hand.
