League Two (Week 32) : Cambridge United beats Newport 3-2
ENGLAND, Feb. 18, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 32: After their 1-1 draw against Yeovil Town on February 14, The U's bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Newport County this Saturday.
Newport County had started off well by taking the lead in the 43rd minute with a goal by Bird Ryan. Trailing 1-0 at half time, The U's nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Corr Barry '63, Legge Leon '72 and Roberts Mark '90 on penalty).
Cambridge United FC climbed to 13rd place with 43 points from 31 games, only one point behind Grimsby Town FC.
