League Two (Week 20) : Newport hold Morecambe to 1-1
WALES, Feb. 21, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 20: The match between Newport County and Morecambe ended in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.
Newport County players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Williams Aaron in the 18th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Morecambe with a saving goal from Rose Michael in the 64th minute.
Morecambe FC climbed to 15th place with 42 points from 31 games, tie on points with Blackpool FC.
