League Two (Week 36) : Newport beats Crewe 2-1
ENGLAND, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 36: After losing 2-1 to Mansfield Town on March 4 and 0-4 to Leyton Orient on March 4, the Exiles returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Crewe Alexandra this Saturday.
Crewe Alexandra had started off well by taking the lead in the 22nd minute with a goal by Cooke Callum. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Exiles nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Butler Dan '53 and Labadie Joss '89).
Crewe Alexandra FC are down in 21st place with 39 points from 36 games, tie on points with Cheltenham Town FC.
