ENGLAND, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 36: Two wins in a row for Accrington Stanley. After their 1-0 win against Barnet on March 4, Stanley continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-0 victory over Exeter City this Saturday.
Accrington Stanley dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mccartan Shay in the 11th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Stanley further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pearson Matty in the 71st minute.
Exeter City FC remains in 7th place with 54 points from 36 games, 3 points behind Luton Town FC, which has a game in hand.
