League Two (Week 41) : Accrington beats Crewe 3-2
ENGLAND, Apr. 8, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 41: Three wins in a row for Accrington Stanley. After their success against Cambridge United and Plymouth Argyle, Stanley continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 3-2 victory over Crewe Alexandra this Saturday.
Hughes Mark scored dual goals
Crewe Alexandra had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Cooke Callum ('15) and Dagnall Chris ('41). Trailing 2-0 at half time, Stanley nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Hughes Mark '57, '79 and Mccartan Shay '61).
Accrington Stanley FC climbed to 12nd place with 58 points from 41 games, only one point behind Wycombe Wanderers FC.
