ENGLAND, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Grimsby Town. After their 1-2 win against Accrington Stanley on September 12, the Mariners continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-1 victory over Yeovil Town this Saturday.
Collins Danny opened the score in the 8th minute, before seeing Yeovil Town catch up in the 21st minute thanks to Zoko Francois. 1-1 at half time. The Mariners eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Vernon Scott in the 71st minute.
Grimsby Town FC climbed to 13rd place with 12 points from 8 games, tie on points with Wycombe Wanderers FC.
