League Two (Week 8) : Luton beats Wycombe Wanderers 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Luton Town. After their 2-0 win against Port Vale on September 12, the Hatters continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers this Saturday.
Wycombe Wanderers had started off well by taking the lead in the 40th minute with a goal by Akinfenwa Adebayo. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Hatters nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Cuthbert Scott '90 and Collins James '90).
Luton Town FC climbed to fourth place with 14 points from 8 games, 2 points behind Accrington Stanley FC.
