League Two (Week 12) : Grimsby beats Port Vale 2-1
ENGLAND, Oct. 7, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 12: After their 2-2 draw against Colchester United on September 30 and 0-0 draw against Lincoln City on September 30, the Mariners returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Port Vale this Saturday.
Port Vale had started off well by taking the lead in the 39th minute with a goal by Pope Tom. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Mariners nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Jones Sam '51 and Dembele Siriki '67).
Grimsby Town FC climbed to 13rd place with 17 points from 12 games, tie on points with Cheltenham Town FC.
