ENGLAND, Oct. 14, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Newport County. After their 2-0 win against Yeovil Town on October 7, the Exiles continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 4-0 victory over Forest Green Rovers this Saturday.
Amond Padraig scored dual goals
Newport County dominated the first half thanks to goals from Amond Padraig ('14, '41). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Exiles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Bennett Scott '78 and Mccoulsky Shawn '86).
Newport County AFC climbed to 6th place with 24 points from 13 games, only one point behind Wycombe Wanderers FC.
