Ligue 1 (Week 7) : PSG beats Caen 2-0
FRANCE, Sep. 24, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 7: After their 1-1 draw against Rennes on September 21 and 1-1 draw against Lyon on September 21, PSG returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Caen this Wednesday.
PSG dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian midfielder Lucas in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, PSG players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Marquinhos in the 57th minute.
Paris Saint-Germain climbed to second place with 13 points from 7 games, 3 points behind Olympique de Marseille.
