FRANCE, Sep. 23, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 7: After their 3-3 draw against Caen on September 20, Toulouse bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Rennes this Tuesday.
Toulouse dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Serbian forward Aleksandar Pesic in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Toulouse players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Diagné '58/own and Ben-Yedder '62).
Toulouse climbed to 7th place with 10 points from 7 games, tie on points with Montpellier HSC, which has a game in hand.
