Ligue 1 (Week 14) : Monaco and Caen play out 2-2 draw
FRANCE, Nov. 22, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 14: The match between Monaco and Caen ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
The Monacos started off well by taking the lead thanks to Beninese defender Emmanuel Imorou into his own net in the 5th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Moutinho goal ('75) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Caen with goals by Bengali-Fodé Koita ('50) and Geoffrey Kondogbia ('59 own).
AS Monaco are down in 8th place with 20 points from 14 games, 2 points behind Saint-Etienne, which has a game in hand.
