Ligue 1 (Week 11) : Monaco defeats Bastia 3-1
FRANCE, Oct. 25, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Monaco. After their 2-0 win against Evian on October 18, Monaco continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-1 victory over Bastia this Saturday.
Monégasque forward Valère Germain opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Bastia catch up in the 22nd minute thanks to Christopher Maboulou. 1-1 at half time. The Monacos eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Kondogbia ('78) and Ferreira-Carrasco ('84).
AS Monaco climbed to 6th place with 17 points from 11 games, tie on points with Olympique Lyonnais, which has a game in hand.
