FRANCE, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 10: After their 1-1 draw against PSG on October 5, Monaco bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Evian this Saturday.
Monaco dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Portuguese midfielder João Moutinho in the 2nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Monaco players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ferreira-Carrasco in the 71st minute.
AS Monaco climbed to 11st place with 14 points from 10 games, tie on points with Toulouse, which has a game in hand.
