FRANCE, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 10: After losing 2-1 to Marseille on October 5 and 0-1 to Toulouse on October 5, Saint-Etienne bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Lorient this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Saint-Etienne midfielder Fabien Lemoine with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Saint-Etienne climbed to fourth place with 17 points from 10 games, tie on points with Bordeaux, which has a game in hand.
