FRANCE, Oct. 26, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Saint-Etienne. After their 0-1 win against Lorient on October 18, Saint-Etienne continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 1-0 victory over Metz this Sunday.
45 minutes of play and neither Saint-Etienne nor Metz have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Ivorian forward Max-Alain Gradel in the 74th minute.
Saint-Etienne climbed to third place with 20 points from 11 games, only one point behind Paris Saint-Germain.
