Ligue 1 (Week 11) : Nice beats Guingamp 7-2
FRANCE, Oct. 26, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 11: After losing 0-1 to Bastia on October 18, Nice bounced back with a 7-2 victory over Guingamp this Sunday.
Carlos Eduardo served up another goal feast
Guingamp opened the score in the score in the 8th minute thanks to Claudio Beauvue, before Nice regained the advantage with Carlos Eduardo ('12, '26, '43) and Pléa ('45). Leading 4-1 at the break, Nice players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Carlos Eduardo '51, '65 and Bauthéac '72).
OGC Nice climbed to 7th place with 17 points from 11 games, tie on points with Olympique Lyonnais, which has a game in hand.
