Ligue 1 (Week 11) : Nantes defeats Evian 2-0
FRANCE, Oct. 25, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 11: After their 1-1 draw against Reims on October 18, Nantes returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Evian this Saturday.
Nantes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Jordan Veretout in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Nantes players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bammou in the 75th minute.
Nantes climbed to third place with 19 points from 11 games, 2 points behind Paris Saint-Germain.
