Ligue 1 (Week 12) : Montpellier beats Evian 2-0
FRANCE, Nov. 1, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 12: After losing 5-1 to Lyon on October 25 and 1-0 to Reims on October 25, Montpellier bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Evian this Saturday.
Montpellier dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Kévin Bérigaud in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Montpellier players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mounier seconds before the end of regulation.
Montpellier HSC climbed to 9th place with 17 points from 12 games, only one point behind Metz.
