Ligue 1 (Week 12) : Marseille beats Lens 2-1
FRANCE, Nov. 2, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 12: After losing 1-0 to Lyon on October 26, Marseille bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Lens this Sunday.
Marseille defender Nicolas Nkoulou opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing Lens catch up in the 31st minute thanks to Baptiste Guillaume. 1-1 at half time. Marseille eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Thauvin in the 60th minute.
Olympique de Marseille remains in first place with 28 points from 12 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up Paris Saint-Germain.
