Ligue 1 (Week 10) : PSG defeats Lens 3-1
FRANCE, Oct. 17, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 10: After their 1-1 draw against Toulouse on October 5 and 1-1 draw against Monaco on October 5, PSG returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Lens this Friday.
Lens opened the score in the score in the 10th minute thanks to Adamo Coulibaly, before PSG regained the advantage with Cabaye ('29) and Maxwell ('34). Leading 2-1 at the break, PSG players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cavani on penalty in the 55th minute.
Paris Saint-Germain climbed to second place with 18 points from 10 games, 4 points behind Olympique de Marseille, which has a game in hand.
