Ligue 1 (Week 15) : Lorient beats Toulouse 3-2
FRANCE, Nov. 29, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 15: Two wins in a row for Lorient. After their 1-0 win against Lens on November 22, Lorient continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-2 victory over Toulouse this Saturday.
Toulouse had started off well by taking the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal by Malian midfielder Tongo Doumbia. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Lorient players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Guerreiro '55, Jeannot '57 and Ayew '60 on penalty).
Toulouse remains in 13rd place with 17 points from 15 games, one point behind Metz.
