Ligue 1 (Week 16) : Toulouse beats Nantes 2-1
FRANCE, Dec. 2, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 16: After losing 2-0 to Montpellier on November 29 and 2-3 to Lorient on November 29, Toulouse bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Nantes this Tuesday.
Toulouse dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Guinean defender Issiaga Sylla in the 24th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Toulouse players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Braithwaite with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Nantes remains in 7th place with 24 points from 16 games, one point behind Rennes, which has a game in hand.
