Ligue 1 (Week 16) : Guingamp beats Caen 5-1
FRANCE, Dec. 3, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 16: After three straigth defeats, Guingamp returned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Caen this Wednesday.
Christophe Mandanne and Claudio Beauvue scored dual goals
Guingamp dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mandanne ('4) and Giresse ('20). Leading 2-1 at the break, Guingamp players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Beauvue '61/penalty, '78 and Mandanne '62).
Guingamp climbed to 17th place with 15 points from 16 games, only one point behind Lille, which has two games in hand.
