Ligue 1 (Week 16) : Rennes beats Nice 2-1
FRANCE, Dec. 3, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 16: Four wins in a row for Rennes. After their success against Lorient, Guingamp and Monaco, Rennes continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory over Nice this Wednesday.
Rennes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Paul-Georges Ntep in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Rennes players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Konradsen in the 49th minute.
Rennes climbed to fourth place with 28 points from 16 games, only one point behind Saint-Etienne.
