Ligue 1 (Week 17) : Nice beats Caen 3-2
FRANCE, Dec. 6, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 17: After losing 1-0 to PSG on December 3 and 1-2 to Rennes on December 3, Nice returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Caen this Saturday.
Caen had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Duhamel ('39 on penalty) and Nangis ('45), while Nice only scored once Amavi ('32). Trailing 2-1 at half time, Nice players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bauthéac '64 on penalty and Pléa '74).
OGC Nice climbed to 11st place with 21 points from 17 games, only one point behind Reims, which has a game in hand.
