Ligue 1 (Week 17) : Bordeaux defeats Lorient 3-2
FRANCE, Dec. 6, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 17: After their 0-0 draw against Metz on December 3, Bordeaux returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Lorient this Saturday.
Cheick Diabaté scored dual goals
Lorient forward Benjamin Jeannot opened the score in the 31st minute, before seeing Bordeaux catch up in the 43rd minute thanks to Wahbi Khazri. 1-1 at half time. Bordeaux eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Diabaté ('64, '66).
Bordeaux climbed to fourth place with 31 points from 17 games, only one point behind Saint-Etienne.
