FRANCE, Aug. 17, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Bordeaux. After their 0-1 win against Montpellier on August 9, Bordeaux continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 4-1 victory over Monaco this Sunday.

Diego Rolán scored dual goals

Monaco had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with a goal by Bulgarian forward Dimitar Berbatov. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Bordeaux players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Rolán '48, '65, Sala '61 on penalty and Khazri '74 on penalty).

Bordeaux climbed to first place with 6 points from 2 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Paris Saint-Germain.
