FRANCE, Aug. 17, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 2: After losing 0-1 to Bordeaux on August 9, Montpellier returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Marseille this Sunday.
Montpellier dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Anthony Mounier in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Montpellier players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sanson in the 68th minute.
Montpellier HSC climbed to 10th place with 3 points from 2 games, tie on points with Olympique Lyonnais.
