FRANCE, Aug. 10, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1: Lorient won their first game of season against AS Monaco.
Lorient dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Cameroonian forward Vincent Aboubakar in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Lorient players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lavigne with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
