Ligue 1 (Week 3) : Bordeaux beats Nice 3-1
FRANCE, Aug. 23, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 3: Three wins in a row for Bordeaux. After their success against Montpellier and Monaco, Bordeaux continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-1 victory over Nice this Saturday.
Nice forward Alexy Bosetti opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing Bordeaux catch up in the 32nd minute thanks to Cheick Diabaté penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. Bordeaux eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Maurice-Belay ('47) and Sertić ('55).
Bordeaux remains in first place with 9 points from 3 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Lille.
