Ligue 1 (Week 17) : Lyon defeats Evian 3-2
FRANCE, Dec. 7, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 17: Two wins in a row for Lyon. After their 2-1 win against Reims on December 4, “Les Gones” continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 3-2 victory over Evian this Sunday.
Alexandre Lacazette scored dual goals
Evian had started off well by taking the lead in the 28th minute with a goal by midfielder Cédric Barbosa. Trailing 1-0 at half time, “Les Gones” nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Benzia '62 and Lacazette '81, '90 on penalty).
Olympique Lyonnais remains in third place with 33 points from 17 games, 2 points behind Olympique de Marseille, which has a game in hand.
